La Vaur was instructed to create a premium workspace for Construction 2 Operations Global Executive Offices, their brief was simple - “something that feels like coming home”. The client wanted a space that speaks to their brand ethos, signifying their position in the industry but also didn’t feel like a stiff, souless and stagnant office. The result is a space that feels more like a high-end boutique hotel than an office; a space worthy of the stunning views to Sydney Harbour, one you’d want to stay a while. 

The combination of finishes, and the marriage between them; the oak and smoked timbers, the brass flatbar between the curved herringbone floor and carpet and the venetian plastering all come together as the details to create a truly elevated and breathtaking space. The space is speckled with alabaster wall sconces and pendants throughout, and the bespoke breakout joinery with concealed bar facilities is one of the many highlights of this stunning workplace.

The herringbone added that element of pattern and interest, while the oak colour complimented the adjacent utilities unit, and proposed a juxtaposition to the smoked ash. Mixing timbers results in a more curated, layered, and sophisticated aesthetic within the fitout.
